AA District 3 Secretary’s Report

April 2010

Secretary’s Report: March minutes were accepted without amendments. 

Treasurer’s Report:

Opening Balance (3/14/10)                          1964.55 + .19 (interest) = $1964.74

Unpaid Expenses: Pizza for GSR workshop; travel for District Chair.

District Chair Report:

Spring Area Assembly meeting minutes are available on: area28AA.org

Round-Up:

Firming up of volunteers-groups have volunteered to cook meals on Saturday and Sunday night; Donna will do breakfast on Saturday and Sunday; volunteers needed for cash grill and to keep washrooms clean.

Balance: 729.35

Clean up weekend May 22nd (depending on weather, 23rd); Scholarships are available, hopefully scholarship recipients will come to clean up day. 

Corrections:

Balance was uncertain; $ for district appears to have been deposited into corrections account; motion made to leave corrections balance as is $300.67 2nd and accepted.

Old Business: Prudent Reserve

The issue of increasing prudent reserve to cover potential losses for roundup not being able cover expenses or to cover travel expenses to Area Meetings for committee Chairs.  Motion to raise to $1200, 2nd, accepted unanimously.

New Business: PI/CPC Budget $

Requesting $100; to be discussed next month.
